Single layer structure This is the simplest structure at the beginning. The metal dome is located under Mylar (a layer of PET with glue) and has ventilation holes to ensure a basic feel and use. The conductive film with a single layer structure is mainly used in early membrane switches (dome array), contact sheets, and other industries. The metal dome is directly pasted and positioned under Mylar (dome carrier) – a layer of adhesive PET film. At the same time, a ventilation hole is reserved for each metal dome on the product to provide a good rebound (feel).

Single Layer Dome Array Structure

The dome array can be simply manufactured onto large panels like one or two domes on a polyester backing, and these panels can contain a large number of domes in one pattern to suit customized applications. Domes of different sizes/types can be merged into the array design.

When quoting, you need to provide a dimensional diagram containing the construction requirements, dome dimensions and parameters, and the annual quantity. If necessary, budget pricing can be provided through CAD.
