Single Layer Metal Dome Array:

Double Metal Dome Array:
Dual-layer dome arrays are somewhat similar to single-layer dome arrays and are implemented with metal dome contacts attached underneath the Maylar. But the pads in the double-dome array are attached underneath the metal dome contacts. The air paths function like air holes in the single layer, contributing to a nice clicky feel when pressing the dome contacts. EMI Printed Metal Dome Array:

This helps reduce static electricity that can be harmful to other parts of your phone. Static electricity collects on the printed silver paste or silver carbon paste and is neutralized.

The EMI Single Layer Dome Array is a specialized metal dome array designed to provide both excellent tactile performance and effective electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection. In this configuration, an EMI shielding layer—typically silver paste or silver carbon paste—is printed directly on top of the single-layer dome array. This coating helps prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic interference that may affect the operation of nearby electronic components.Because the EMI layer is printed on the top surface of the PET sheet, the structure remains lightweight and flexible while offering stable conductivity.
