On April 11, 2025, a quiet email landed in our inbox. The sender’s domain immediately caught our attention \u2014 it belonged to one of the world’s most recognized US technology companies. Our first instinct wasn’t excitement. It was caution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a private manufacturer, an unsolicited approach from a global tech giant is more likely to be a phishing attempt than a real opportunity. So before responding, we did our homework: checking email headers, cc’d contacts, and cross-referencing the sender’s professional background. Everything checked out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Confirming the Connection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once contact was verified, a call followed. The customer’s representative explained how they had found us: while researching solutions for a specific technical bottleneck involving 4-leg full-travel metal dome switches, they came across the detailed technical documentation on our official website \u2014 and it led them straight to our engineering team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Inquiry to In-Person Review<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The requirements quickly proved to be more than a standard part request. The customer needed a fully customized solution compatible with their future product roadmap. Our CEO moved fast, assembling a cross-functional team to break down the requirements, prepare samples, and compile supporting engineering documentation. Rather than respond by email alone, our CEO personally flew to California to present the proposal and samples in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The on-site technical review was rigorous \u2014 covering material properties, process control, prototype data, and yield stability across multiple rounds of questioning. Because our engineers had anticipated many of the likely concerns in advance, we were able to propose a structural optimization to reduce chain loss on the spot, which the customer’s technical lead acknowledged with visible approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What This Meant to Us<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Being approached by a company of this caliber was, in part, fortunate timing. But making it through each stage of technical scrutiny was a matter of preparation and capability. What we’re proudest of isn’t the name on the other side of the table \u2014 it’s the proof that a China-based technical manufacturer can meet a top global customer’s standards on equal footing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
